I JUST WANT TO BE ABLE TO WALK WITHOUT BEING IN PAIN EVERYDAY. PLEASE HELP ME OUT.. THANK YOU.

A nerve block sounds like a good idea because it is only temporary and will help diagnose the problem better. Also, you may want to ask about getting an MRI to help diagnose your exact condition. Almost all foot and ankle problems can be relieved and you are too young to put up with this for the rest of your life. Good luck and please write back if you have any further questions.

THANK YOU FOR WRITING BACK..I JUST WANTED TO ASK YOU A FEW MORE QUESTIONS..I WANTED TO KNOW EXACTLY WHAT A NERVE BLOCK DOES TO YOU AND WHAT THE RESULTS ARE? I ALSO WANTED TO KNOW HOW THAT WOULD HELP DIAGNOS THE PROBLEM? I'VE HAD AN MRI DONE ALSO. I HAD TOO MUCH SCAR TISSUE TO TELL IF THERE WAS ANYTHING WRONG WITH MY TENDONS.I ALSO JUST FOUND OUT THAT I HAD ANOTHER SPUR ON MY ANKLE BUT THE DOCTOR TOLD ME THAT WASN'T MY PROBLEM. I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR ADVICE. I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE. THANK YOU.

A nerve blocks numbs a nerve in a very specific area. Therefore, if this relieves the pain, the doctor knows exactly the area that is causing the pain and knows where to focus his/her attention. Scar tissue from chronic tendonitis can be treated with physical therapy and even surgery if necessary. Therefore, you should discuss these options with your doctor.
