Heel (Calcaneus) Fracture

Post a new topicby Guest on Sun Aug 07, 2005 10:17 pm

There is a great site to network and get information on calcaneus fractures at: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/footinjuries

We have polls about the
critical milestones experienced in the calcaneous fracture recovery
process and have a database that shares injury profiles. There is also a compilation of excellent educational information in the files from medical journals plus links to other sources. Please feel free to vent, pour your heart out (it is what we are here for and we understand), and ask questions.
Some of our members are past the one year mark and freely share their
new normal life experiences. At time of this posting we have 19 members. Many are recent breaks. One member is 9 years post recovery.

It really gives you hope on the dark
days.
