heel pain throbbing

Post a new topicby Guest on Tue Feb 12, 2002 2:49 pm

I have a strange trobbing in my right heel. The feeling is inside the heel not outside. Also it is very hot, it feels like I have a fever, it is extremely hot and throbbing in the evening when trying to sleep. It bothers me less when I wear shoes. I purchased some DR. Scholls and that does not help. I have been told that is heel spurs. I would like to know if cortisone will correct the problem immediately, as it is becoming most uncomfortable.

It could be heel spurs but it also could be tarsal tunnel syndrome or posterior tibial dysfunction. Therefore, you need to see a podiatrist so you can be properly diagnosed before you receive any treatment.
