my question is has anyone got the same problems? it is getting really aggatating and dont know what i shoud do next, if any one can help i would be very gratful.
Re: heel painhave you seen a podiatrist, an orthotic maybe helpful or putting the joint at rest. Good luck
Re: heel painI've had right heel pain for years. It began & didn't get any better. I called my orthopedist & he gave me an injection in it as well as x-rays. The x-rays indicated a heel spur. That injection improved my heel pain for about a year. The pain gradually got worse & went in for another injection which lasted about 8 months. Then the pain returned & got received another injection which only helped for a couple of months. My doctor told me that once this happens, the injections become less effective & I might want to consider surgery. In December of 2006 I had the surgery.
Went in for pre-op the day before & was given information pertaining to surgery & the anesthesia that would be used. The following morning whenever I went in for the surgery, I was taken to a block room. That was news to me, no one had said anything about a nerve block. I agreed for the leg but nothing whatsoever to do with my spine. Well I have had nothing but problems since the surgery, & in August 2007, I received a post-surgical injection again. Now in October, I can hardly walk. Over the past week it has gotten much worse. Of course, after a certain period of time, the pain meds end & there you are. I'm not sure what my next step will be, but I feel more pain now than before I had the surgery. That could be your problem. Have you been to orthopedist for an x-ray? If you have a spur, it will show on an x-ray, but you can also have inflammation of the plantar fascia tissues which run from your heel up into the ball of your foot. That also causes pain. I'm sorry about the book I have written, but perhaps you should see an orthopedist for an x-ray. I hope this helps a little because I know how painful it is. Good luck to you!
Re: heel painthanks for the comment i will look into that and get an xray to clear that avenue of things up
