I have had heel pain for about a year now. Sometimes it hurts for days then goes away for awhile and returns again some weeks later. I have now noticed a hard spot on the outer part of myleft heel and am wondering what you think it could be. Yes I am going to the doctor in 2 weeks.

It could be anything from a callus, a cyst to a bursa. Going to a doctor for a proper diagnosis is a smart decision. Have a nice day and please write back if you have any further questions.
