Pain in heel and arch

Post a new topicby Guest on Fri Aug 30, 2002 4:40 pm

My husband has pain in his heel and arches. The heel hurts from time to time but the arches hurt very much, but only when he's not standing! Do you have any idea about this? Thanks

There are many ligamnets and tendons in the arch of the foot that are probably starined for one reason or another. He should see a podiatrist to be properly diagnosed and treated. It sounds liek his feet need extra support. Therefore, he would probably benefit from orthotics which you can read about at podiatrychannel.com
