Pain only when wearing shoes

Post a new topicby Guest on Sat Jan 31, 2004 12:20 pm

I developed a pain on the back of my heel that is almost unbearable with any type of shoes on. I drive a truck for a living and wear good work boots but havnt been able to put them on in about a week. When im not wearing shoes at home, i feel no pain at all and i can walk or move as much as i like. If i touch the area though, there's very sharp unbearable pain. There doesnt appear to be any swollen or redness. Is this tendonitis and are there any over the counter remedies.I cant afford to be out of work for a period of time. Thanks for your help.
