plantar fasciaI have been told I have Plantar Fascia. The heel pain has greatly reduced after I bought some Rockport walking shoes. I am overweight and feel this contributes to my heel pain I want to walk about two miles a day as part of a weight loss plan. Will this aggravate the plantar fascia? Is it safe for me to attempt to walk this distance daily?
Re: plantar fasciaIt will be safe to walk this distance but you need to gradually increase to this distance. You may want to start at half a mile or one mile depending upon your current athletic ability. Have a nice day and please write back if you have any further questions.
