After Surgery Dilemma Ingrown Toenails

Post a new topicby Guest on Sun Jun 03, 2001 12:12 pm

I began to have problems ingrown toenails about six-seven years ago. I had m on both sides of both of my big toes. After many attempts to remove sides, let m grow back out, my podiatrist removed entire nail applied a chemical to keep sides from growing back out at all. I told y would grow back out in about 6-8mths. problem is I got tired of having ugly toenails after about 6mths y seemed to stop growing. I went to a beaty shop had acrylic nails applied. worked fine about two months when I took m off, my real toenails yellow flaky on one toe, completely gone. re doesn't seem to be any infection do I need to do to get my real toenails to grow out stopping. Will y ever grow back out completely, or at least some normally? Thanks so much!
