Blisters under toenails

Post a new topicby Guest on Sat May 18, 2002 6:30 pm

I'm a 62yr old male and have had a problem with underneath my big toe nail for about 3months now.......I cut the nail back as far as I dare to see what kept bleeding .....on taking a close look I can see a small cluster of what I can only describe as looking like a minute bunch of grapes.....these are full of blood and tend to burst every now and then .....could they just be blood blisters or something more sinister? my nail is not thick and I can't remember ever hurting my toe.

They are probably not blood blisters. Instead, they are most likely warts, a grabuloma or something more serious like a type of cancer. Therefore, you really should see a podiatrist in the near future to be propelry diagnosed and treated.
