I went to doctor today he said he going to have to pull whole nail off. I don't think is needed wondering if re anyor things can be done.

The other option you might have is the doctor could remove about a two to three millimeter piece of your nail from the edge where it is growing into your skin. This should be enough so that the nail does not grow back into your skin. However, since we do not know what your nail or toe look like, this may or may not be an option
