Ingrown Toenails on both feet

Post a new topicby Guest on Sun May 12, 2002 12:04 pm

I've had an ingrown toenail on my right big toe for about a year I went to see the doctor and they gave me some antibiotics but the antibiotics didnt work,so now both sides of my right big toe are infected.Recently on my left big toe theres another ingrown nail.Is there a chance that there may be an over the counter to heal the ingrown nails? I'm really scared of doctors so is absolutly necesary to go see one about my problem?

You may be scared of doctors but there is no over-the-counter solution to your condition. You need to have the sides of your nail removed to prevent the infection from getting worse and probably put back on antibiotics. You should make an appointment with a podiatrist as soon as possible. Your feet will feel much better. Have a nice day and please write back if you have any further questions.
