I am wondering how contagious onychomycosis is? Could it be spread via a nail polish brush being used by > 1 person?

Onychomycosis is not spread from one person to another in this manner. Instead, onychomycosis usually begins by the skin around the nail being infected in cases such as athlete's foot and it spreads to the nail.
