Nails falling off

Post a new topicby Guest on Sat Sep 08, 2001 12:15 pm

I have a two part question:
I have been getting pedicures for over a year but recently I have had three toe nails fall off completely in the past three months. There is no pain associated with this and when the nail comes off there is another nail growing under it. What could cause this?

Secondly, when I wear tennis shoes, and I have tried several manufacturers, my feet will burn and sometimes my toes go numb. Is this from shoes that are too tight? I bought a larger and wider pair but it still happens.

You may have a disease like diabetes that is causing problems with the circulation and nerves in yuor body. This may be causing the nails to fall of and the burning. YOu should see a podiatrist for a thorough examination.
