I underst having a small part of toenail removed by a podiatrist will solve problem of ingrown toenail at least temporarily, if not permanently, will an ingrown toenail ever grow elf back out out medical intervention? I underst risk of infection importance of seeking medical attention in event, out infection, will toenail correct elf? thanks!

Once the toenail is ingrown, it will most likely not correct itself. Therefore, it would be best to have it treated by a podiatrist with sterile instruments before it does get infected. Have a nice day and please write back if you have any further questions.
