I am a 49 year-old female no major health problems or than being diagnosed low- level diabetes. Shortly reafter, I noticed my large tonail on my right foot began to look discolored. It began a change of color from normal flesh color to a purplish color at base of nail. I thought I might have dropped something on my foot, problem continued. Now, approximately 9 months later, entire nail is a light shade of purple. re is no pain, I am disturbed by change. Any ideas on might have caused ? I do take atenolol high blood pressure, 's under control. Thanks any help. -Marycarole Hamilton
