Re: Signs and Symptoms, DiagnosisI had surgery about 25 years ago for this, and I was fine in a couple of weeks or so. My pain was at the end of my middle toe, which felt like an ingrown toenail. That's probably why it took a couple of visits to the podiatrist to diagnose. Now, I'm 65 years old, and I'm experiencing the same symptoms in my hand, with what feels like an ingrown nail, with no visible signs, other than some numbness, like a lack of circulation. Is it possible to have a similar problem (neuroma) in the hand, with a similar surgery? Sorry for the long question!
