Can you tell me if you had any swelling in the foot and/or ankle associated with the pain? Several months ago, I slipped on the stairs and kind of landed on my left foot. I started having pain in the top of the foot and then some months later, noticed that my foot and ankle would swell after sitting at the computer or doing a lot of walking. As the result of breast cancer surgery, I have lymphodema in my left arm and don't know if the foot swelling may be caused from that, or if there is another reason, such as morton's neuroma. Putting off going to the doctor if possible, as it is expensive. BTW, I use to live in Texas, now live in Ireland.
