Morton's Neuroma

I had a neuroma removed early Oct 07 with the incision being made on the underside of my foot (surgeon recommended this as the method least likely to have a recurrence of the neuroma) . It has healed but the scar tissue seems hard and is very painful - more so than before i had the operation. i don’t know if this is normal and how long the complete recovery and disappearance of the pain may take.
