big toe won't bend upwards anymore

Post a new topicby gwyn on Sat Oct 03, 2009 11:05 pm

My husband, age 62, just discovered that his big toe no longer will bend upwards with his other four toes upon command. He isn't sure when this problem developed. He is now starting to have some pain in the toe and sharp burning at the first toe joint. His Dr. says he thinks this is Morton's neuroma and is scheduling him for nerve conductivity testing soon. He can feel no knot on the bottom of his foot. Has anyone else had these symptoms>
