Day 14 post-surgery

Post a new topicby Mbali on Tue Jun 10, 2008 1:01 pm

Tried to put some weight on leg again, again feels so wrong and have not taken a full step on my operated foot at all. Also, the stitches really pull when I put weight on my foot and that is sore. I get the stitches out tomorrow and will get to see what my foot looks like for the first time. Hope all is well with your recoveries and if you have any advice on how you felt two weeks later that would be great.
I will update on what the doc says tomorrow.

HI there- What did your doctor say? How are you doing now?

I am three days post-op for MN surgery on my left foot. I am only able to get around using crutches and I have some sort of weird cut I can see on the bottom of my foot (although the doctor removed the neuroma with a dorsal approach). Do you think there' s a chance he cut all the way through my foot? The bottom of the foot shows a black jagged line, but it does not pierce the calloused skin on the bottom of my ball. I cannot for the life of me figure out what it is... almost looks like a jagged splinter.

Anyway, I hope you are doing well and fully recovered by now! Let me know how the recovery went!

Thanks, Stephanie in Arizona
