Lyrica (Pregabalin) good for Morton's Neuroma?

I have a pricky pain on my 3rd and 4th toes over the last 4 months. This is specially true if I wear shoes. I see an orthopedic and told me its Morton's Neuroma I believe so since all symptoms point to MN. Lately, i have it scanned using MRI and saw nothing on it. My Ortho prescribed me Lyrica (Pregabalin), 75 mg, 2 times a day. He also prescibed Arcoxia (etoricoxib). After a week, the pain is almost negligible . So he asked me to continue these medicines for 3 more weeks but this time only at 75 mg a day for Lyrica. Also he asked me to continue Arcoxia. Is this the right medicine for MN? I badly need help since there is no Podiatrist in Muscat, Oman where I presently work. Also, he told me its alright to play basketball. I am on my second week of medication and I can still feel the pricky thing down there, though its not painful anymore. I am 44 years old and, is otherwise a healthy man.
