MNs/Plantar Facsitis

Post a new topicby suzrider on Thu May 15, 2008 12:26 am

In May 2007 I had surgery (after many, many appointments, discussions, shots, etc) for PF. I had a hematoma which caused numbness on the right side of the foot. To date, only the side of my little toe is numb. So, I would call that a successful surgery. During all that I was having the same treatment (shots) on my left foot for PF and MN. After about 3 shots of the alcohol shots, I couldn't take it anymore. So, we decided on surgery. So, that was in December 2007. The surgerties were successful. However, after a few months I started having pain on my left foot next to the MN surgery. The doc says I have a MN there also. So, she has started the cortisone shots. Tomorrow I'm suppose to have the 3rd shot. The first 2 did nothing. I'm guessing I will need to have surgery again. She thinks I have Fibromyalgia in my feet. I also have been diagnosed with Lupus for 36 years. Has anyone ever had there doctor tell them they have Fibromyalgia in their feet?
