Re: mortons neuroma and plantar fasciitisWell, I am back sorry it took so long, tried to get on this site one day and it wouldn't let me on, I don't know what the problem was. I don't think any of the doctors we have seen know what exactly is causing the pain, but I have a theory after seeing the x-rays on his foot. He had the neuroma removed in Nov. of 06 (it is interesting how so many of the doctors tell the patient that they have the largest neuroma they have ever seen, Bob's doctor said that too). Over the years his third and fourth toe have started to overlap and I can see on the x-ray that the bones more towards the ankle seem to be closer together than the other bones thus I surmise that those bones are pressing on the nerve in there. that is the space where the neuroma was removed. He has never had relief since the surgery. How are you doing now? Any relief. He has had cryotherapy too, and change of shoes, several medications so here we go to see how this Doctor can treat him. I am praying that the Lord will show us a way, and I am not giving up, even though Bob wants to give up sometimes. by the way my name is Terry.
Re: mortons neuroma and plantar fasciitisHi Terry, I'm sorry I didn't answer you sooner. I went for cryosurgery. To soon to know anything yet. It's only a week. I was told I won't know if it has worked for at least 3-4 weeks. So far I don't see any improvement. I'm PRAYING. If it weren't for The Lord I would have lost my sanity.
I have no trust in doctors anymore. I've seen 4 so far & each one gives me a different story. The one who did my surgery was the best. I was told the success rate for surgery is 90-95% to find out from 2 the others ( after the surgery) it's only 60-40 at best. Yes, your right I was told mine was a big one also. I was also told I would be fine and dandy after my surgery HA. How is Bob doing? I FEEL for him. I don't know how he works on his feet all day. Regards, Jes
Re: mortons neuroma and plantar fasciitisI have posted on TIME FOR A NEW SOLUTION as to what we are doing right now if you would go there and read that, I am very hopeful that this will provide relief for my BOB. You sound like a Christian so are we, and I have faith that the Lord will show us the way or give BOB the grace. Thanks Jess

Hi, Yes, I am a Christian. As I said He is holding me & my hubby as I am sure He is doing the same for you & yours. I'm sure you know as I do He is in control. We just have to keep holding on. I will read your new post. Thanks again. God Bless Jess
