New in pain control

Post a new topicby ndone on Thu Sep 04, 2008 11:17 am

Hi everyone this is ndone- as some of you know my husband has suffered for over three years with MN. After surgery and two cryo treatments, and several attempts with multiple pain relief meds, no help, just constant use of ice and Aleve. I have come across this website- Anesiva.com. There is an injectable capsaicin called Adlea. Once you get to this site go to pain management and then to post traumatic neuropathic pain. This sounds very promising as at least a stopgap. After all the research I have done, treating this miserable affliction is like taking a stab in the dark. The media site is good too. I will be trying to find out where one can have this done. If any of you know any more info, post it on for the rest of us. I could use you input. Terry (Bob's wife)
