Non surgery neuroma fixHi Guys,
I had a terrible neuroma from my Step Aerobics class. I changed to a new pair of shoes that were too tight in the box. I pushed through the pain and little did I know I was developing an irreversible neuroma I did the cortozone injections and of course, that didn't work. I did not want to do the surgery since I am on my feet a lot doing trade shows for my business and I couldn't afford the down time. I studied the foot and bones of the foot and realized that the widest part of the foot is the ball of the foot. While sleeping on my side, the ball of the foot takes all the pressure from the mattress and that keeps the neuroma under pressure all night. I developed a padded ring that I wore at night that moves the widest part of the foot from the ball of the foot to the mid foot. This lifted the ball of my foot off the mattress and allowed the metatarsals to be uncompressed for the entire 8 hours of my sleep. I went from a pain of 10 to a pain of 1. I am now doing 5-6 step aerobics classes a week and I have no problems walking or standing for any length of time. I kid you not, I got my life back without surgery and I am a happy camper. Now I know pitching products is frowned upon, but I sincerely want to help people like I helped myself. I decided to apply for a patent on the product. It is called FootRestore. Check out the website: www.restoremyfoot.com I just started selling the product a couple of days ago and I am VERY interested in ANY feedback this forum could provide. I am really interested in helping everyone overcome the pain and get their lives back.
Re: Non surgery neuroma fixI just e-mailed you, reviewed your site. I think your product will help others. Another product called toe stretchers or yoga toes also helps to spread toes aparts during the night for healing.
I am also doing prolotherapy injections to strengthen the ligaments in my foot that stretched from jogging in the woods over tree roots and kicking a wall one day when I lost my temper. I hope we can all find healing no matter how it came to be we got this. Demetri
Re: Non surgery neuroma fixHi Demetri,
I tried a toe spreader. My try was more like a piece of padding I stuck between my third and fourth toe. This action alone actually placed more pressure on the neuroma because of the heads of the metatarsals are forced together when the two toes are spread apart. I found that when I put the wedge of padding right down against my skin between my toes, and then I taped the tops of my toes together, that action actually spread the heads of the metatarsals while it pulled the tips of my toes together. I can send along a photo if your are interested. Anyway, it was kind of uncomfortable and then I came up with the FootRestore. My pain is gone now completely even through the neuroma is still there. Mine neuroma is very large, it just doesn't hurt or interfere in any of my daily activities or exercise. I do a bunch of twisting on my feet and jumping in my step aerobics classes. This weekend I went for a 50 mile bike ride. The petals hit directly under my neuroma and I was fine...a little tired from the distance, but my foot was fine. Cheers, John
Re: Non surgery neuroma fixWhat you have said is impressive, I am feeling better this week from prolotherapy tightening my ligaments but if I don't continue healing, your product will be next on my list, it seems well thought through and I will recommend it on forums for people to look into. Hang in there with the marketing, some podiatrists will discover it and it could launch big.
Thanks, Demetri
Re: Non surgery neuroma fixHello Artemus,
I'm so sorry to hear about MN in both feet. What misery! As far as FootRestore goes, how many you get would really depend on how your feet lay when you sleep. For me personally, the balls of both feet push into the mattress. One foot is just behind the other foot. I would recommend for starters to just try one. You can wear it for one foot for a while and when you achieve the level of pain relief you are looking for, you could just wear the same FootRestore on the other foot. There is no right or left side limitation on FootRestore. That being said, once you find it works for you, you might want to get two so you can wear FootRestore all the time in bed. I wear mine every night even though the pain is gone. During the development stage, I was trying different designs and with one bad iteration, my pain came back. Now I wear it all the time because I never want to go through that pain again! Cheers, John
