Physician recommendation needed

Post a new topicby reevesp on Sat May 03, 2008 12:35 pm

Hi,

First, my thanks to all of you for sharing your experiences and wisdom. I very much appreciate it. I am looking for a podiatrist in the Atlanta, Georgia, area who has expertise in treating/removing a Morton's neuroma. I've had 3 neuromas removed in the past...and now, 20 years later, the neuroma -my old nemesis--has returned. The podiatrist who treated me so very successfully many years ago has long since retired. Given my long history with this condition, it's important that I see someone who has particular expertise in this area. Although finding someone in the Atlanta area would be ideal (I live in Athens, GA), at this point, I'd travel anywhere in the U.S. to see someone with special expertise. Please know that I'd be deeply grateful for your recommendations and advice.

Hello, this is a forum moderator responding. Although I don't have a direct answer to your question, HC's MDLocator may be used to help you find a qualified podiatrist in a community near you:

Although MDLocator lists many podiatrists, it does not include all. Thank you for participating in the forum, and I wish you the best in finding answers to your medical questions.
