Stump Neuroma

Post a new topicby walkietalkie on Sun Oct 05, 2008 12:29 pm

It is nearlly ten months since I had my neuroma removed from in between my second and third toes on my right foot. All went well at first, however, ten months on and I still can't put my foot on the floor unless underfoot is well padded. My scar healed up, but it's what is going on inside of my foot that is giving cause for concern (again!). The neuroma has been removed (that was worse) but only to be replaced by a constrictive mass of scar tissue which feels like its forever hardening and tightening!!!

Does anyone know what are the symptoms of a stump neuroma if you do, can you please let me know and how they can be treated. I am shortly due to go back to clinic for a scan and I would prefer to be wise before the event.

Thank You :D
