Blown-up wart is this normal?

Post a new topicby Ryo25 on Sat Aug 04, 2007 1:54 am

After having the freezing procedure performed on my feet, the wart expanded massively and I felt constant shock as if the freezing never ceased. The pain escalated and became unbearable so I took a pushpin and poked a hole at it. Blood began gushing from that spot for hours, is this normal? Why won't my blood clot up? Anyone with similar experience?

You should call your doctor, your push pin idea although it sounds like it worked may cause an infection.

Please see my posting- plantar wart freezing gone bad. I'd be interested to know how you come out.

I have had 16 freezings to my plantar wart. Because of its size, depth and location right on the tibial nerve (which runs down the back of the leg with final termination at the heel), I always experience extreme pain immediately with the eletrical shooting nerve pain well into the following day. So you may be having nerve pain from the freezings and the warts location. I also almost always blister after treatment and actually the Doctor give me a sterile needle to pop the blister if it is really big and yes it bleeds and oozes.

You may want to look at other options, since freezing may not work. It certainly has not worked for me and now I am going to try injection of chemo drugs to the wart.

That's nice. But before you take any medicine or injection you must to take advise from your doctor. Because wart is to critical.
