Identifying plantars wartsI have an elongated a (about one inch
long, maybe 1/4 inch wide)of thickened
tissue on ball of my left foot. It
runs plell to length of my foot
is located between padded a
underneath my big toe second toe. If
I look closely,I can see several small,
transpnt circular as at different
points in a. As I touch
a, I can feel circular as of
thickened skin surrounding
transpnt centers underneath
surface. I am also beginning to notice
tenderness in a when I walk
had my primary c physician take a
look. She did not see black or
brown flecks associated plantars
warts thought must be a callous.
I have had warts on or parts of my
body, however, have often seen se same circular
transpnt as on raised warts.
Is it possible to have plantars warts
don't show brown or black flecks?
Could those flecks simply be underneath
surface not immediately visible?
Re: Identifying plantars wartsThe circular patches could be warts even though you do not see the black flecks. However, the area between the first and second toes is a common location for a corn or callus. Finally, you may have an inclusion cyst there. This simply means that a small foreign object like a piece of sand or tiny pebble got pushed into your skin and a cyst formed. All three of these possibilities can be diagnosed and treated correctly by a podiatrist. For an exact diagnosis, please see your local podiatrist.
