Plantar Warts

I got a planters wart on my heel 5 or 6 years ago and it spread to two warts. They were huge and very painful. Eventually I was limping a lot because of pain in my heel (I assume that was caused from walking different because of my warts). I got injections all last summer for treatment. I noticed a few weeks ago that the warts are physically almost gone but now I am consistantly in excruating pain in my heel. I think that they have wrapped around my nerves and have grown up into the inside of my heel. Is this possible? What can I do? I limp all the time and my foot hurts so bad.
