Plantars wart HELP

Post a new topicby Guest on Tue Nov 30, 2004 1:34 pm

I developed a plantars wart on my left foot below my big toe on the ball of the foot there. I had it removed and since then, I have had anywhere from one to three at a time come back all in the general location over about a 6 month period now. Now I have developed one on the heel of my right foot. I consistently keep getting them removed and cauterized, but they keep coming back and are painful. I have one now halfway under a toenail. Is there anything I can do to get rid of these forever? PLEASE HELP!!!

Unfortunately there isn't anything that will guarantee you'll never get them again. There's a chance the virus causing them might die off, but not all the time. I have had my wart for 16 years and it keeps coming back because I still have the virus.
