Plantar Warts

Hello,

My daughter appears to have a plantars wart on her heel. I have looked at a few websites covering this viral condition and have seen many forms of treatment. However, it does not seem to be age specific. Which treatment is usually recommended for small children? (especially when they do not understand we might be doing something to them that makes it hurt worse?)
Anyone had to deal with this? Thanks
