Laser and surgery are both options. Less invasive options include medicines and acid treatments. Aldura is a lotion used to treat genital warts that has been successful in plantar warts as well. Acid therapy where you apply the acid daily to yourself can be much more effective than weekly applications alone by a doctor. You should call Kaiser and ask for a list of podiatrists in your plan. Then call these doctors until you find one who offers a variety of treatment options. Good luck and if you have any further questions, please write back.
