Warts are caused by a virus. They are contagious but only by direct contact with bodily fluids so bleaching the floors will not prevent them. Warts grow by attaching themselves to the humans blood supply and feeding off of it. Most over the counter medications are not strong enough to be effective against resilient warts. You should see a podiatrist for your son and yourself. Warts look similar to some other skin conditions so you should really see a podiatrist so proper, effective treatment can be initiated so you both heal as quickly as possible. Sorry for the lateness of this reply and good luck. You can also read more about them under plantar warts in the conditions section of podiatrychannel.com
