plantar's warts

Post a new topicby Guest on Fri Aug 24, 2001 5:27 pm

My mom recently went to a podiatrist to haave a plantar's wart removed. They tried acid and it didn't work so he numbed the skin around the wart with eight needles and then jabbed another needle full of cancer killing medicine into the middle of the wart. Is that an acceptable practice?

This is one way to remove warts. Warts are tough to get rid of so physicians will try many different treatment options.
