Plantar Warts

Okay, so I've had plantar warts for 3 years now and have tried EVERYTHING to get them to go away that my general practioner knew about....So I finally went to the dermatologist and he prescribed me Aldara and told me to combine it with Compound W and Tape....

Well I have been doing this for three days and it looks like little beads are trying to come out of my foot. If I didn't know any better I would just say they were really dark blackheads. What are those? Are those just the broken up blood vessels? They are about the size of a pinhead. I was just wondering if this stuff is working or if its doing something else, cuz its definately doing something.
