I was just recently prescribed large doses of Tagament for treatment of my plantar warts I have tried everything and have seen 3 doctors, nothing works. They are spreading and are very painful. Have you heard of this treatment or can you make any other suggestions?

Tagamet has shown some efficacy in helping get rid of warts as long as it is combined with standard therapy such as acid, freezing or laser. However, there are a couple new drugs that have been used as well. The two most popular name brands are Carac and Aldara. You should discuss these options with your doctor.
