Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD)

I was told yesterday that I have RSD. I work in the medical field and never heard of this. I had surgery on my left wrist and thumb in March which has now developed into RSD My thumb feels like it is 5 times bigger than it should be and burns all the time. To think this is just the beginning makes me just insane. Maybe there is a research group out there looking for subjects that I can get into so others later can benefit from my suffering.
