I am so sorry to hear about your dad's rsd. I have no ideas just some sympathy. I now have this condition and am just beginning to make decisions about how to treat it. Your father's story is very frightening, though important for people like me to read. I need to know that things can get better and they can get worse. I have quit eating potato chips so I won't have trouble opening the bag. I read a couple of dietary recommendations, on salt, no mayonaise, no hot dogs, no caffeine, no butter, no vegetable oil. I don't know what is correct and what is just probably a good idea in general.

I hope matters improve. You can't do the suffering for him, so take care of yourself.
