On February 13, 2009 my mother was getting groceries out of her trunk and slipped and fell twisting her ankle as she fell down. We thought that maybe it was just a sprain until we went to the doctors office and they did xrays and found out that she had a fracture on her small toe bone. i, like you, want to hear stories of successful remissions. i did talk with one friend who spent a couple of years getting over rsd in her hand. she swears the physical therapy saved her hand from becoming a useless claw. unfortunately, she had another accident and is currently in worse shape than she was with the hard fought hand. give my sympathy to your mother. pam
