RSDOn February 13, 2009 my mother was getting groceries out of her trunk and slipped and fell twisting her ankle as she fell down. We thought that maybe it was just a sprain until we went to the doctors office and they did xrays and found out that she had a fracture on her small toe bone. She had a hard time getting around and fell again and started feeling the burning sensation on her foot. Re: RSDi, like you, want to hear stories of successful remissions. i did talk with one friend who spent a couple of years getting over rsd in her hand. she swears the physical therapy saved her hand from becoming a useless claw. unfortunately, she had another accident and is currently in worse shape than she was with the hard fought hand. give my sympathy to your mother. pam
