When will i go back to work

Post a new topicby livingwith on Mon Apr 13, 2009 3:03 pm

Back in November i had a washer that didn’t spin out and i had to wring out the clothes by handing and i turned to answer a question. When i did i sprained my ankle. I didn’t go to the dr cause it was just a sprain. Well finally on Dec. 31 i got tired of being swollen and only being able to walk on my toes and went to the dr. That dr told me it was a heal spur. They sent me to a foot dr. That dr thought it was more and sent me for an MRI and put me on bed rest with a walking boot to ...Read the full article

I know what you mean when you say when can I go back to work. I lost my job because of it and I'm 17. I have RSD as well, it's all along my right side, the meds I'm on don't work when they are by themselves. Sensetive to the touch, and just plain hurts to move, I can't walk right either. It's my junior year of high school and I haven't been able to go for the past 5 weeks now, i still have the 6 weeks once i start taking the second med's they prescribed to me. I'll pray for you, and I hope you feel better.

Thank you so much for your prayers and my heart felt prayers and thoughts go to you. I am just so frustrated trying to find out why this is happening to me. My kids have been great they are 20,19, & 15. So i understand how important this year and next year mean to you. This is suppose to be the best years of your life. So I pray for you to get well enough to go back to work & school.

Thank you, that makes me happy that your family has been good to you. Keep in touch with them will you, you will need all the support you can. I have been researching this rsd for bout ( i cant remember since when) but i have learned much about it. My friends keep asking me what rsd is online, and i just dont have the words to tell them. so i look it up, one friend thought that i would not stop bleeding. lol. Im like...noooo, this has nothing to do with bleeding. That made me laugh big time. so much fun my life is when people visit, i kinda forced my x to come and swim with me the other day, i wanted company soooo bad. Being at home by urself for 5 or 6 wks.....it gets boring and lonely. lol. but because of this he comes to visit me more often. I miss the things i could do without pain in ordinary life, but that is gone now, now i have to find a new way to live life to the fullest, even if i have to feel pain, it means that im alive. Is life better on ur end? Whats the update?

i have had 5 spinal injections and still no better. I was told Monday that i no longer have a job to go back to if the doctors ever let me go back. But I am not gonna let that keep me down.I have always worked in the medical field and really do miss working many hours a week. And I am hoping that my tanning salon workers can keep it going for me. I am hoping that all is well on your end and hoping you might be well enough to go to prom. I am just so tired of bed rest that I think sometimes I am gonna go crazy lol. I loved the bleeding to death story. It made me laugh and I needed it. I am so thankful to have you to talk to. You are a great inspiration to me. And I think it was great that your x came over to swim with you. Keep your chin up and a smile on your face knowing you are not alone with help.

I am also glad to be talking to you as well. I am always telling my friends that atleast I'm good for a laugh. I have finally started my homebound education and I am completly confused, since its over the phone no one can show me what he is talking about. I know its about the ear, so I know the basics, but he is going over a diagram and i have no clue what he is looking at. He is saying names that aren't even on the worksheet he gave me. But oh well, guess i just have to read the book, after all, thats what its for right? Something funny, I have to have something funny to tell you. ........... Let me talk bout my cats, when they forget I'm here they run around the house like they are chasing something then they just suddenly stop and look around, its so funny to watch, I don't think that i described that well. lol. Well, why don't I ask how you are doing? What's going on around you? I mean I don't get out much so i don't really know what's going on. You can ask me questions if you would like.

I had my last injection on Tuesday and in 2 weeks they are gonna burn the nerves that go to my foot. I love the cats story mine do that as well. My husband did get me a new puppy to help with my therphy. Doing your school work over the phone has got to be difficult. What if the words are not in the book what will you do. As always I am wishing you the best in this aweful situation. Best of luck and hope to hear from you soon.
