CRPS & smoking

Post a new topicby Ngara on Sat Nov 10, 2007 12:49 am

Has anyone continued smoking after their diagnosis? I've been told that I need to quit- and I'm having a hard time dealing with it on top of all the pain and other related issues.

Any insight, stories, or advice is welcome and wanted.

Thanks, N.

HI I AM STILL SMOKING, I WAS DIAGNOSED NEARLY 16 YEARS AGO.
I WAS TOLD NOT TO SMOKE, BUT I SMOKE TO HELP ME WITH THE PAIN.

ESPECIALLY WHEN I HAVE TO GET UP IN THE NIGHT, BECAUSE OF THE PAIN AND I CAN'T SLEEP.
I THINK WHETHER YOU SMOKE OR NOT, IS AN INDIVIDUAL THING. WE ALL KNOW IT'S BAD FOR US
BUT STILL DO IT. I THINK YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE UP YOUR ONE MIND WHETHER TO SMOKE OR NOT.
