Good news today

Post a new topicby reruho on Wed Nov 11, 2009 12:44 am

I had a great day. I saw the hematologist today and was cleared for gall bladder surgery. I have this inherited clotting disorder (Factor V Leiden) and the surgeon want me to be cleared. I may have to do Lovenox (a blood thinner) for 3-6 weeks. That is an injection, which is good for bruising.

Next step is to see the surgeon and schedule a date. Then I will schedule a block with the PM prior to surgery.

I am feeling good. The thought of getting rid of the back pain, I describe it as a knife in my back. It has been constant since June.

reruho,

I am happy for you, because years ago (prior to RSD) I used to have back pain often and every doctor I saw had a different opinion as it relates to the cause, but than I had a major gall bladder attack, ended up in the hospital and had surgery, which ended the back pain.
