I completely understand how you feel. I am 36 years old and have had to deal with RA since I was 31. People do not understand. People in my age group especially do not understand. They dont understand when I have bad days, not just physically but mentally as well. To them, arthritist is just something that strikes older people and it is not a big deal. I have to admit before I was diagnosed, I didnt undertsand what RA was. I had no idea. Now that I am dealing with it, I have a lot more respect for it and for individuals that have to deal with it as well! I have been on numerous of medications, on and off of prednisone (I have recently had to go back on) I am currently trying to get the arthritist under control so that I can have my right knee replaced. This week I will be starting Orencia to see if that can help.
I hope all is going well for you, I realize you posted a couple of weeks ago. I just found this web site and wanted to post also.
