Your medical condition is often called metatarsalgia. It is a way to explain your symptoms rather than a diagnosis. It does not make since that you have high arches and overpronate. Hyperpronation is something that occurs in flat feet. A high arch foot has problems in the heel and balls of the foot because these are the only areas touching the ground whereas a normal foot disperses the weight of the body over more of the foot. Therefore, you should see a podiatrist so your foot type can be explained to you. If you have high arches, the podiatrist can make you an orthotic. An orthotic is a custom-made insert that will allow the weight of your body to be dispersed through your entire foot which should relieve your pain. Good luck and please write back if you have any further questions.
