Obviously losing weight will help take some stress off your feet and legs. However, it is tough to lose weight if it is too painful to exercise. You should see a podiatrist. Podiatrists specialize in treating the foot, ankle and lower leg. There are many treatment options that can help you. Orthotics are one device that will give your arches support and allow you to exercise. Therefore, please see a podiatrist so you can receive proper treatment. Good luck and please write back if you have any further questions.
