has been a wonderful sce of inmation since my injury. After fracturing a sesamoid in January, I never casted great toe immobilized padding taping. Icing elevation relieved swelling pain along use of Vioxx. I fitted orthotics y have relieved pressure on sesamoid a. However, I now feel pressure on outside of big toe. After reading through r conditions section, it seems like is a a bunion would be found. I still have some swelling in first MTJ pain is no longer evident. I still ice elevate every evening. Is it normal to have some swelling discomt 3 months after injury could my orthotics be cause? Please help! Thank .

It can be very normal. However, if the pain went away and has now come back, it may be the cause of the orthotics. They may need to be modified to relieve some of the prerssure in the area. You also may be developing a bunion so you should talk to your doctor about your concerns and definitely bring your orthotics.
