Pain on the bottom of foot during exercise

Post a new topicby Guest on Thu May 16, 2002 10:26 am

Recently, while running, I notice pain on the bottom of my feet (either one or both). The location is pretty much on the balls of my feet, slightlybelow where the toe joins the foot. It feels as if there are a couple of hard peas between my sock and foot. It usually starts out as a hot feeling in that area and progresses sometimes to the point where I have to stop running. Any Ideas?

Thanks

You may have a neuroma or a sesamoiditis. You can read about both of these in the conditions section of podiatrychannel.com. You should see a podiatrist to be properly examined, diagnosed and treated in the near future.
