First, never run long distances on a treadmill. This will help prevent you from injuring your foot in the future. Hopefully you just strained the ligaments around that joint. However, if the pain is still very bad, you have to be concerned about a stress fracture. Therefore, if you are still experiencng pain, you should see a podiatrist as soon as possible to be properly diagnosed and treated. Good luck and please write back if you have any further questions.
